The Amazon Kindle

The Amazon Kindle is a new step for the world of books. From print to screen, the Amazon Kindle is an amazing e-book reader. It makes it very convenient for readers to browse for books online and make online purchases. Readers do not have to walk in to bookstores and search for a specific book which lies somewhere among the countless bookshelves.
The Amazon Kindle is also very convenient for readers in a way that it is easy to carry and is very light. As for its readability, the Amazon Kindle is very easy on the eyes. The LCD doesn’t make it appear like a computer screen as those strain the eyes making it very hard to focus and read.
While it is small and lightweight, the Amazon Kindle is also very private as no one can see what you are reading. With this e-book reader, anyone can read a blog, articles from newspapers, even a full-length novel.
While it is an interesting piece of gadget to have, especially for people who like reading, there is also a bit of a downside (in my opinion).
Where is the fun in collecting the books? They say that a look at your book collection can also reflect a little bit about a person’s personality. For some people, collecting books is not only a hobby, but it is a lifestyle. And the Amazon Kindle would not fit into their daily lives. Don’t you think havingĀ a book collection would be something to be proud off?
There is also that search for the book. Some people like to walk into different bookstores in search for a particular book. And in that, they may also find other interesting books aside from the one they are looking for.
The Amazon Kindle does not offer that kind of experience for readers and book lovers. That’s why they are called “book lovers,” not “e-book lovers.”
